The first Version 2 beta is here, for MacOS and Windows.
Here’s what’s new:
- Custom fields can be defined in the Preferences for use as macros in IPTC fields.
-
The field Shoot in Version 1 is now a custom field,
and has been renamed CF.Shoot, referenced via the macro
{@CF.Shoot}. -
In the Preferences, you can choose which fields show on the main window.
All fields show in the Settings panel. - You can change the order of fields and their size (number of lines).
-
You can designate a field as required via the new macro {@Required}.
When a field contains that macro,
it must have a value for ingestion to proceed.
The Preview panel shows which photos have missing data. -
You now define the path to DNG Converter in the Preferences,
instead of in the Settings. (MacOS only; the Windows version already had this.) -
Bug fix: Wrong month for “MMMM”, “MMM”, “WWWW”, and “WWW” date-macro sequences on Dec. 31 in time zones that are +12 or greater than GMT.
(MacOS only; Windows didn’t have this bug.) - A bunch of other minor bug fixes and tweaks.
